Luke 10:2-3 He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore to send out workers into his harvest field. Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.

Mark 16:15 He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.

Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the father son and of the holy spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always.

Okay now your probly thinking.. Where in the world is she going with these scriptures??? I mean what Harvest and Disciples and workers and lambs and wolves Got in common?!?!

Well let me see if I can write down what I think about these scriptures:)

Jesus calls us once we have accepted him to reach out to other people who don't know Him. Jesus calls us to be Disciples for him He calls us to be his workers. The fields could be seen as the many lost souls all around you at school at work ANYWHERE they are the fields! and the are ripe to be harvested they are ripe to be told the truth about God, and we must tell them or else who will? we are Gods tools in this world to reach out to people to do Gods work for his glory! not to become a christian and sit on butts all day. Who gives about what you are comfortable with we need to GET OUT! and reach people. To many Christians Go to church read their bibles and pray and live in a Christian Bubble. That is not what God called us to do yes church teaches us yes the bible teachs Yes Prayer is important But what are you useing it for? if you do nothing to further Gods kingdom?? I mean thats why we have church and the Bible to learn so we can reach out to people so what good is it is we never step out of our comfort zones and reach? and tell?

Go do what you were called to do...
